Upgraded to v23, tabs in this when FF opened and shows the tabs previously open with the name about:Tabs? How do I get v23 to go back to the behaviour in V22 ?
to try and make it clear, when I start up V23 all the tabs show about:Tabs and if lucky I can figure out what the tab is for by the icon picture shown. Would like it to be as before with a title of what the tab was doing when I closed. I hope that I have made it clear.

Do you mean that you do not see the thumbnails on the new tab page (about:newtab)?

That looks like a problem with one of the extensions.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
