To open the profile folder via Firefox: '''Help''' ('''Alt''' + '''H''') > '''Troubleshooting Information''' > '''Show Folder'''. You can then right-click the + after the last tab and enable (tick) '''Menu Bar''' and '''Bookmarks Toolbar'''. Hopefully the settings will be remembered this time.
