Firefox is locking up VERY frequently after every few seconds unless I minimize the window and maximize it again. But then in a few seconds it locks up again, unable to click anything or DO anything

Firefox is locking up VERY frequently after every few seconds unless I minimize the window and maximize it again. Ya'll just released a new version that I'd hoped would have fixed this issue, apparently not...and I also can't select an option in a drop down box, I have to use my keyboard to do so...

Every time Firefox opened

Firefox is locking up VERY frequently after every few seconds unless I minimize the window and maximize it again. But then in a few seconds it locks up again, I am unable to click anything or DO anything and it is becoming extremely annoying! Yeah, same here, I have disabled all of my addons except noscript but I don't think thats it. I'll let you know as things progress but this has been happening since the 7.01 update.

Yeah I'm seeing this as well. A force quit and relaunch seems to solve the problem for a while.

IMHO the app has just gone downhill in the last few years. Useful tools like browser history from the back button are hidden / rendered useless (click and hold doesn't work so well from a track pad), and it's performance just isn't what it used to be.
