Why does ThunderBird copy deleted email text to the clipboard? Any way to stop it?
When using ThunderBird to write an email message, if I delete part of the message, ThunderBird automatically places the deleted text in the Windows clipboard. Is there any way to stop this behavior?

I can't reproduce that behaviour. If I delete by selecting text and pressing the Delete key, it doesn't appear in the Windows clipboard (Winkey+V), but it does if I delete with Ctrl+X (Cut), which makes sense.

Thank you! I've been using Ctrl + X. I'll have to teach myself to use Delete instead. LOL
