Auto double spacing with enter key
I have just started using Thunderbird (version 91.0.0) and I can't find a way to disable the irritating auto double spacing using the enter key. I have researched online and found lots of various answers to the same question (some years ago). Unfortunately, the processes suggested in the answers do not relate to what I am seeing on my computer. Can someone point me in the right direction, please? Thanks.

Many thanks David. All good now!

I have this same problem but your solution doesn't match the options for me to fix it. You said go to "tools>Preferences>Composition>HTML Style. Review the 'Use Paragraph Format...' tickbox" however when I click on tools there is no Preferences option, no Composition option, no HTML Style option. Could you please explain why I don't have these options? Im using version 102.2.2 on Windows 11.
The menu was changed to tools>settings in 102.
