How do I delete my synced data from Mozilla's servers?

Firefox encrypts your personal data locally with a key that is derived from the password of Firefox Account before uploading this data to the Sync server, so on the Sync server there is only encrypted data stored. Only this original password can decrypt this data, so a password reset then will make it impossible to decrypt this data and this data is thus removed.

You can install the About Sync extension in Firefox 72 and newer on desktop to check what data is stored on the Sync server via the about:sync page provided by this extension.

Close and restart Firefox to access the about:sync page added by this extension (see the about:about page for possible about pages).

Can you provide more detail on what exactly you are trying to accomplish?

Do you want to keep using this Firefox account like to login to this forum ?

You can delete this Firefox account or reset the password if you do not want to delete the account as a password reset purges all data stored on the Sync server.

Yes, I want to keep using this Firefox account.

How do you know that resetting my password purges all the data stored on the sync server?

Does Firefox not state this anywhere on their website? Odd. OK, I'll take your word for it.

Thank you for informing me of the about:sync extension.

Here is my next question: Is logging in to your account via Firefox browser good for anything other than syncing? Can one be logged in to a Firefox browser and not be syncing/synced? I posted it separately here, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1368671 .

Yes! "If you forget your password and reset it, your storage is wiped clean and replaced with what is currently saved in Firefox on your devices."

I should read more.
