Can you walk me through the steps you are taking?

You can send a Collection of tabs to your laptop and they will all open on that copy of Firefox.

Hi The tabs used to remain selected after sending them to the other device. Then I could close them all at once. Or do whatever anything with them.. But now this has changed, the browser just switches to one of the tabs so I lose that selection I made.

You can send a Collection to another copy of Firefox and multiple tabs will open. You can then delete or close the Collection as you wish.

What you are suggesting is very complicated and is not even working..

I selected some tabs and made a collection. Sent that collection to my other device, then deleted the collection. The tabs are still open in my tab list on the phone (first device).

This used to be so simple. I'd select some tabs and share them to my other device then the tabs would still be selected (after the action of sending them) so I could just close them. It was like this until some update happened and now after sending it just shows my last/current tab.

The tabs that you have sent to the other copy of Firefox will remain in that Collection until you delete the Collection.

Can you please stop pushing me that collection and read what I wrote? I just need tabs sent and closed in a simple and fast way. And it used to work.

There has been recent change to this process.

What you are describing is no different to how Collections work. You can send all of the tabs in a Collection to another copy of Firefox, and the tabs will still be in that Collection in Firefox for Android.

Hey. Pehaps I am not clear enough. I want to send some tabs from my android phone (let's say 20 randomly selected tabs out of 40 open) to my computer AND close them in the android device.

Can you do that with Collections? No. Why? The selection, meaning the checkmark in front of the tabs when you go on choosing more tabs. That used to stay on after doing whatever one task with the selected tabs (delete, share... or put them in a collection!) so you could do another action, like delete them.. You end up searching and marking again them 20 tabs and wonder if it could just be reverted to keep the damn selection so you can do other things with them tabs.
