I'm on Firefox 91 on Mac Big Sur. After the last update, some website where it involves columns and rows especially email clients displays weird. I have tried to troubleshoot, refresh and reinstall, but seems to be the case. I'm using the standard system theme all these years and have also explored this avenue if this was causing the problem to no avail. The background seems to be white all the time as a default and there are black border lines on each row and columns especially on email clients. Even on Gmail my background is not white all the while until now and its fine on Chrome (screenshot attached). Anyone facing this same problem? Thanks in advance. - Benjamin

Hi Benjamin, Firefox 91 now automatically enables High Contrast Mode when "Increase Contrast" is checked on MacOS. (release notes).

Is it possible you have that setting?

If so, please try one or both of these two options:

(1) Turn off the system-level setting. This appears to be the most effective workaround.

(2) Disable High Contrast mode in Firefox. See: Disable high contrast mode in Firefox.

For both changes, you might need to Quit Firefox and start it up again to see the normal display.

Any difference?

Thank you for your help. Issue resolved! Never realised this new (but terrible feature) in Firefox that I almost gave up on this browser and wanted to go back to Chrome. Thanks again.
