Hello, I use Windows 10 PL and Mozilla Firefox PL. My location is Poland. When I try to use Masterpass payment method in Firefox, the browser redirects me to US Masterpass instead of Polish Masterpass. Firstly there is seen information "Masterpass was upgraded" and following this there is error message. This is definitely some localization error. How to fix this? There is no such issue using other browsers. Best Zbigniew

Are you possibly using a VPN that could be causing this confusion ?

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

"Clear the Cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Hello, The issue is not caused by extensions and hardware acceleration. It's questionable if it's related to cookies and browsing history - I tried this method in the past, but for the first usage it worked and later on issue was again present. Problem occurred few months ago - I can't remember from which Firefox version. May be it's caused by VPN, but my VPN is set to server in Poland, so this should not have any influence. Nevertheless why at other browsers (e.g. Chrome) issue not occurs when VPN is set "ON"? What is (in fact bad) difference between Firefox and Chrome in this case? Best Zbigniew
