I used Thunderbird since it started, I did not like the last installation, (I lost all my useful addons), but when I wanted to return to the previous one there is no way with "thunderbird.exe -p" or anything. "Goodbye Thunderbird" I will return to Outlook before Thunderbird, I never thought they would act like this. I lost years of emails.

With Thunderbird 68, in the command line in the Thunderbird program directory, start with 

thunderbird.exe -P --allow-downgrade
