How do I stop Firefox from adding %20 in between the words I enter on its search bar?
I recently had to do a factory reset on my desktop computer. Then I downloaded all of the"stuff" I had on my computer that I still wanted. I downloaded Mozilla Firefox, which I use as my primary. Now, every single time I try to do a search, using their search bar, Firefox puts ......%20....in between the words I have entered for my search!!!!!! My search goes nowhere now until I go into the search bar and remove the %20 from all the places in the search bar. Help, please? I use Windows 10 in a home environment, with A HP Pavilion Desk top computer.

That is a network code for a space. Does this cause problems when you search?
Escaping a space to %20 should normally cause no issues because the website should unescape the code (or use ) Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
