How to fix the message "javascriptvoid(0)" multiple sites, when I wanted to open any content of the site like meditation experience or opening the statement on my credit card account

I rest firefox and was fixed on one site (meditation) but not when i wanted to print the statement. I did not have any problem when I used chrome for the same site. Also there is an option for "javascript on or off" in Chrom, but I could not find it in firefox.

Would you please help me fix it.

Thanks.

Hi   !

First : You can check if JavaScript is enabled (which it should be by default) :

Type in the address bar   about:config   (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked) Type and look for the preference : javascript.enabled Its value should be set to   true

If you have any adblockers or pop-up blockers installed : Would you disable them and see if that makes a difference  ?

javascript:void(0); is a placeholder URL. The actual action is to via an attached onclick handler.

Such an onclick handler is usually attached via JavaScript that runs on the website. You can check that in the Inspector to see if there is an 'ev' button appended to the link.

You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the built-in Inspector with this element selected.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove the cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Clear the cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> Network -> Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems.

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
