Where are the userids and passwords saved? Somehow, they have been lost, so I want to try restoring the files from my latest backup.

Over the weekend, I suddenly got the dreaded "Get me out of here!" message claiming that my connection was insecure. I don't understand how that could be since nothing on my home WiFi has changed, so I suspect something has gone wrong with FireFox. Further proof of that was that today all my passwords (and of course userids) are no longer in the saved passwords. Where have they been being saved? I can go back to my backups to try to retrieve them, but I need to know where and what to pull back to.
