Suddenly all of my remembered accounts on a given page got sorted alphabetically. How do I restore the chronological order? It's so annoying!

It's pretty simple. Say I have 5 emails on 1 website. So far the order of accounts was chronological, as in the top one was the first one I enetered and saved the password for. Now they got sorted alphabetically and I hate it. I don't mean Thunderbird, I mean simply the remembered accounts.

Are you talking about the Password Manager?

No. I talk about having several accounts on my email (4 different logins) and the passwords used to be in the order I made the browser remember them and suddenly (today or yesterday) it switched to alphabetical order.

As in imagine you had 3 passwords for 3 facebook accounts remembered on your computer. Say you want yours first, your sister's second & your boyfriend's 3rd (just an example). So far they would be in the order you made Mozilla save them. But now when you want to login they appear alphabetically.

I want my passwords arranged like before too. But the only response I got so far was "this is how it is now, we fixed some stupid bug from the year 2001 (sic!!).

This is so annoying that after more than 10 years of exclusive Firefox use (switched from Netscape), I am going to change browser and am trying out both Chrome and Opera, which both have some good sides, but also some bad ones.

I wish I didn't have to do this. But this change in Firefox had been critical. It is a horrible and totally unacceptable fuck-up.
