A couple of days ago, when opening up Mozilla firefox to my homepage, the browser would stop working, and the top would say "not responding." I closed it, and the next day, when I opened the Mozilla browser, there was a page that said that there'd been a problem, but it really didn't tell me what to do. Restoring the page didn't help, because it would just freeze up again. I changed the homepage to something else and it seems to be fine. So, it seems to have a problem with my ISP's portal page. What can I do?

1/4 of that page is advertisements, per uBlock blocked requests. Numbers wise, 43 requests blocked by uBlock, coming from 8 different domains. And that's not even counting the changing ads from TDS in the right hand column that don't get blocked by uBlock "to be fair to the host".

IMO, you should be using an ad blocker.
