I have tried the following suggestions, but have had no luck, or the values were as they were supposed to be

-About:Config gfx....fonts enabled -"Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above" -McAfee extension -Disabled all extensions

What is hex range of those characters?

You will see little boxes with the hex code if you do not have a font installed that covers this range. The hex code allows to do a look up of the characters.
