Is there anyway to either override the default white background soCan I override thTrans transparent or load a wallpaper to it or make the toolbars transparent?

What part of Firefox are you referring to?

There are some transparent themes available https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../?q=transparent&cat=themes that could also change the theme. However, you may also want to explore the unix customizing Mozilla reference for customized versions: http://www-archive.mozilla.org/unix/customizing.html
