address bar wont remember history
after downloading the most up todate firefox the address bar wont remember the history,after checking everything i then downloaded an older version and it is working ok so it seem that something is wrong in the newer version im using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
