This happens only on Firefox and Firefox Developer Edition on one of my PCs and not the other. Firefox is version 113.0.2 (64-bit) and DE is 114.0b9 (64-bit)

Anyone experienced this before?

I have noticed in the last few days that Firefox is keeping my Mac from sleeping. This seems to have started around the time of updating Firefox to version 113.0.2 which happened 4 days ago. Any thoughts on how to debug this?

Just downloaded 113.02 Firefox. Frame around firefox windows and tabs loses Min/Max, "X" exit button and full screen buttons. Coloration of the frame also changes from solid to opaque and back without any input from me. Does seem to vary based on memory usage. High usage appears to cause these symptoms but can't be sure. Controls do not reappear. Double-clicking the frame makes them reappear only momentarily. Uses Windows 7 Pro OS.

I would like to be able to reset links on a webpage to be as if I have never clicked on them, but I am unable to do so. I have tried:

-Resetting all of the cookies, history, etc for that individual website. -Removing the URLs from the links in question from my browser history. -Downloading this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/remove-visited-link/ and using it -Going into settings and changing the visited link color.

Nothing has worked so far. One thing about the website in question is it has its own unique color for visited links---I am wondering if that is causing this? Additionally, this persists whether or not I am signed in to this website.

I'm trying to use multi-account containers to use twitter and other sites from accounts unique to the container.

For twitter, if I select a container, a new tab opens with the twitter login page in that container. If I try to login, another tab opens in that container, with the login page. So, I can never log in.

Is there a solution?

I just got an add-on called LMMS Music Studio. But every time I click on their icon I am taken to something else called "https://www.offidocs.com/edit-lmms.php?username=810908&fileurl=newfileoriginal" Any ideas?

I have an intermittent problem with the back and forward buttons skipping pages. My home page is a blank page. From the home page I select the YouTube bookmark. I intend to right click on a video and select Open Link in New Window, but sometimes my touchpad doesn't see it as a right click and opens the video. When the video is done if I click on the back button, the browser takes me to the home page (blank) instead of the first YouTube page. If I then click on the forward button, YouTube loads a new page of videos to watch. There is no way to get back to the original first YouTube page which is annoying if there was something else I wanted to watch. I've had this happen with other sites as well. I originally thought this was a Firefox issue but now am wondering if my touchpad is interpreting the click on the back button as two clicks and causing it to go back two pages. Is this possible?

Last week, mid-day one day, videos on YouTube suddenly all had a warm cast --yellowish for color, cream/beige for B&W. I have researched the issue as I can. It is not my Windows night light; my drivers and PC are apparently all updated; everything is working fine. I checked to see if the same happened with Vimeo videos and it did. I'm running W10.

   Interestingly, the pop-up thumbnails one gets when hovering over the timeline as not affected; they look fine.
   One post by someone else was answered that it was a GPU driver issue; another said it's only with HD videos.
   I'm a B&W photographer and would really like to get back to normal again. 
   Any ideas?

I currently have two (2) issues:

1) When I go to settings it says “Your browser is being managed by your organisation”. Except this isn’t my work PC, so I should be seeing this type of prompt. When I’ve googled this, it appears to be AVAST anti-virus, and people suggest deleting the policy register. I’ve checked my registry and can’t find such a policy.

2) I’m getting issues logging into iCloud saying that Firefox doesn’t support physical security keys?

Although I have used Firefox for many years, recently I have been getting messages encouraging me to sign in to Mcafee virus protection although I have a perfectly adequate virus protection installed and this is recognised by Firefox. How do I stop these small messages that appear at the bottom right of the screen?

Norton sign in screen loops with Firefox, works fine with Chrome and Edge. Norton support level 2 has tried for may hours to fix but they have suggested contacting Firefox support as it is a cookie and site certificate issue with Firefox.

I have been using gmail through firefox for years without problems. I have not recently changed in settings in firefox or gmail. Starting about two weeks ago, when I try to access gmail through firefox I only get a blank, white screen. No error messages. The only help articles I find are 8 years old and their trouble-shooting suggestions are not working. How can I regain access to gmail through firefox?

I just updated to the latest version of FIREFOX 114.0 on Ubuntu 22.04. However, whenever a website looks for the version it is reported as 86. I am not using the SNAP version and it does not show up in SNAP LIST. Several websites have rejected access because of an outdated browser. Is this a bug or a setting that needs fixing? I have a 2020 Mac Mini with Ventura 13.2.1 on it. I have four virtual desktops which are part of the OS. I place various apps on the others like stocks and weather etc. to diminish clutter on screen. Firefox shows up on all 4 of them. I want it on only one desktop. Safari works on only one and doesn't show in the other 3 desktops. I have searched the net but haven't found anything that speaks to this in particular. Thanks for any help with this and I hope it's just a simple setting. Regards, Jim Stephens
