In using your search function, I also have to override a security warning from Norton.
I have windows 7 and full Norton Security

You have downloaded firefox from unofficial site. Sometimes software gets bundled with malware or adware, like in your case. In some cases I would recommend uninstalling (your mentioned software too), deleting FF data directory, and then reinstalling FF from mozilla.org

You were right. Went back to the download and It said Mozilla but wasn't.

Got rid of everything and started from sratch.
