When I open a website, when in Firefox, I get a white screen with a list of highlighted items I can choose. It is not what I am used to seeing. This happens on more than one website I visit. I can't navigate through the site.

It seems the AccelerateTab add-on is to blame for your issues. Open the Add-ons Manager by holding down the Ctrl and Shift keys and pressing A. Then open the Extensions category and click the Remove button next to it. If that's not enough, you may also need to look in the Windows Control Panel and uninstall it from there while Firefox is closed.
The AD Block and Ads Removal add-ons are also suspicious. I recommend getting rid of them as well. At the very least they're redundant since you have Adblock Plus.
