downloaded adobe shockwave and reader and now web page bookmarks dont work
working on ning site and was prompted to download plugins shockwave Flashplayer: install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aaa_aih reader: install_reader11_uk_mssd_aaa_aih and now web page book marks are not working in IE, Firefox and chrome.
what to do?

It seems I had not correctly created the anchors
for some reason it was working then after the upgrades the Ids for the anchors were no longer interpreted. after checking a different machine I found the links were broken there also - something I should have checked earlier
i reinserted new "a href= " and "a name= " and all is well again.

Can you clarify what you mean with "web page bookmarks"?
Do you mean links on web pages?
You should only download programs from the official website of an application and never via a link on a web page.
