Firefox won't update anymore, says my mac doesn't meet the requirements. I have a Mac OS X 10.6.8 version, 4 GB Intel Core 2 Duo, what can I do?
I reinstalled it several times, deleting the old icons on my application folder, and desktop. Don't know a lot about this but I've never had any issues with mozilla before. I just want it to be up to date. Haven't installed any weird programs lately either and I don't have anything that blocks it.

hello yasmag, your useragent (the information the browser sends to websites to identify its version) - apparently mistakenly - shows you're on firefox version 3.0.19 & mac os x 10.5. please refer to this article in order to reset the user-agent settings in firefox: How to reset the default user agent on Firefox
phillipp thank you for the information! But it's still not letting me update :( I followed all the steps: reset the user agent, cleared the history/cookies/cache... it still says that my system doesn't meet the requirements to run firefox. I'd appreciate any other suggestions, thank you!
I have the same problem, but Mozilla says my computer will no longer work with the upgrade. Am running FF 23.0.1 on OSx 10.8.4 on an iMac on an Intel core i3 processor

Hi nole62
You write that you are using "FF 23.0.1 on OSx 10.8.4".
Firefox 23.0.1 is the latest Firefox release, so if you use this version then you should be OK.
