How do I remove words from my dictionary if I don't have a persdict.dat file? Using Mac OS X. Also, looked for the Firefox folder in Application Support that should contain my profile folder and I don't have that either... just a Mozilla folder with Extensions and another empty folder titled with letters and numbers. I am currently a beta tester as well, could that change anything?

I can post a picture of my finder files if need be... I honestly did my research before asking this and I can't find anything listed that should be there.

You can only remove words that you've added yourself to the dictionary.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
