re-installed 3.6 and uninstalled 4 because 4 stunck. now lost it all

I re-installed 3.6 on my computer and then uninstalled 4. 3.6 was running fine. I exited the program last night and got up this morning and had neither. I had to download 4 again, and of course have lost all previous bookmarks, etc.
