Mac: Keyboard shortcut "Command + Left/Right Arrow"
For every other application, (including this text field on Firefox), the shortcut "Command left/right arrow" brings the cursor to the beginning or end of the line you are typing. It's a great shortcut I use a lot.
HOWEVER, when you're typing out an Email in a txt field (say on Yahoo Mail for example), this command works as a "back" or "forward" button in the browser (previous page or next).
For this reason, I've lost pages of text I've typed into an Email just by habitually using this command. Once the page goes back or forward, I lose everything.
Is there ANY way of disabling this shortcut.
Thanks for your time, Brian

When you use a rich text editor for webmail, you're not really typing in a normal form field, so unless the site intercepts that key command, it is sent through to the browser...
There is an extension to change the keyboard shortcuts. Maybe it will work in this case? See:

Any luck?
