Tools, Downloads shows the download box but no new entries in the download list.

With the version 3.5.12 I have the problem that when I want to look at the Downloads list after having downloaded something, nothing what I have just downloaded is listed any more. I cleared the download history to see if that solves anything but, no. Now the list is empty and whatever I download doesnt appear in Tools...Downloads.

I think the bugs are getting more and more with every new Firefox version. Also: last time I still managed to adjust about:config... now whatever language adjustment I make...nothing happens, even if I put total rubbish into the field.

Have you set Firefox to remember downloads?

Tools > Options > Privacy > History: "Remember download history"

Also make sure that you are not in Private Browsing mode
