How do I detect FireFox Pop-Up blocker in code and notify visitors that they need to disable the FireFox pop-up blocker to enable Search to function with the ENTER KEY and not only the magnifying Glass Icon?
Hi,
ONLY FireFox blocks using the ENTER key to launch a SEARCH on my website - (which is strangely allowed by FF IF I manually disable pop-up blocking)!
So, then how do I detect FireFox Pop-Up blocker in code on my website pages that include searches (just for FF visitors) and notify those visitors using FF that they need to disable the FireFox pop-up blocker to enable Search to function with the ENTER KEY and not only the magnifying Glass Icon (without using a pop-up notification - which will obviously be blocked by the FF pop-up blocker), please?
Sounds like mission impossible - for a "pop-up block" of what actually is NOT a pop-up (while every other browser happily allows search with an ENTER key)?
Or can FF possibly just FIX the pop-up blocking code to allow Search with an ENTER key (like all the other browsers do), PLEASE?
