LastPass extension and Yubikey authentication

I'm having a similar issue to other people reporting on this issue recently. When opening up firefox, the latest version (102.02), on my Windows 11, I'm prompted for insertion of my yubikey to get access to LastPass. I enter the key and click on authenticate and nothing happens. Google and Edge browsers work with the yubikey. (I can access LastPass via pw) 

I also have a computer with Windows 10 on it, the latest version.  I open firefox, again the latest version, insert my yubikey and click. Everything works!  Also on Google and Edge browsers.

I wonder if the latest Windows 11 update on July 12, 2022 may interfere with the extension of LastPass on Firefox. My issue started after the Windows 11 update on July 12, when I was prompted for my yubikey .
