Hi,

I have a problem, which only seems to apply to Firefox. I am a developer for a site which uses LetsEncrypt certificate. When I access it via Firefox (and only Firefox), I get the error message as mentioned in the subject.

I tried to understand why this occurs. A quick Google just leads me to an issue with the Microsoft domain, and what I can understand was a Firefox bug.

Trying to figure out if it is a problem with Firefox, or a problem with the certificate. Any thoughts?

I also wanna point out that `ciperscan` reports the website as `OCSP stapling: supported`.

Firefox has enabled that when the server has OCSP stapling enabled that the server must send a valid OCSP response, so it sounds that in this case something is wrong with this response and the server needs to fix this. Other browser might be more forgiving in such a case or aren't using it at all.

  • about:config => security.ssl.enable_ocsp_must_staple = true
