I filled up a form with name and surname, no passwords. The data is stored, but where and why?

I filled up a form with name and surname, no passwords. When coming back to the site days later, just pressing first letter shows my previously typed data. For example, the letter J will show John right away.

Where is this information stored? I looked in "Memory" devtab, it is not there so I presume this is not stored by the website in my PC. Also, I don't see this data in in History.
