Closed captions on HBOMax are appearing 50-60 seconds before the actual audio

When streaming "Cry Macho" on Windows 10, Firefox 92, with closed captions turned on, the captions appear on the screen 50-60 seconds prior to the actual audio. Tried the same with Chrome and it worked as it should so I guess it is a Firefox problem. Please advise.
