Search from bookmarked keyword
On Firefox desktop, I can bookmark any search engine and assign a keyword to it. Then, I can easily search using it with the keyword + search terms combination. For instance, I can bookmark Google search with the keyword "g", then search for restaurants through Google by typing "g restaurants" in the address bar.
On Firefox Android, I could reproduce the same behavior, until the beta update, when it stopped working. Manually adding a search engine through the settings menu and a %s string is way cumbersome and, many times, doesn't work, since some websites don't provide the address used for searching. Even when I can add a search engine, I have to manually browse through all of them, select the one I want, then, and only then, I can search.
The old way may look less intuitive, but on surface only. Adding a search engine was quick, easy, and most importantly, practical to use. Why can't both ways coexist?
