Every Dark-Mode Add On Requires "Access your data for all websites" Permissions

Hi,

I'm trying to find an add on for Dark Mode on Firefox, but every one of them has this one permission "Access your data for all websites," which simply means it can read the data I enter (usernames, passwords, etc).

Why would Dark-Mode extensions need this permission? Is it possible for extensions to actually send my data it reads to somewhere?

Thank you for your attention.
