Why won't audio play in FF 69.0.3 (64-bit) private browsing on Windows 10 Enterprise 10.0.17763?

I have no problem with audio in regular browsing. I'm in an enterprise environment with increasingly tight management and my workstation is brand new to me. The CPU is Intel i7-8700 3.2 GHz, 3192 Mhzz, 6 cores, 12 logical processors, BIOS is Dell 1.4.2. Audio device is Realtek Audio, Microsoft driver 10.0.17763.1.
