Hello mdkrx73,

Would you please make sure that you're not in permanent Private Browsing mode :

3-bar menu (or 'Tools') => Options => Privacy & Security => under "History" => Firefox will : choose : "Use custom settings for history" Uncheck : "Always use private browsing mode"

If that's not it : are you perhaps using an external password manager  ?

Let's try Firefox in Safe Mode :

If Firefox is not running : Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running : 3-bar menu => ' ? ' (at the bottom of the dropdown) => 'Restart with Add-ons disabled'. Then OK the restart. A small dialog should appear. Click 'Start in Safe Mode' ( not 'Refresh' !)

If the above doesn't help either, would you please follow the steps in this article :

Are you using an external Password Manager like Roboform or "Trend Micro Password Manager" ?

If you have the "Trend Micro Password Manager" installed then try to uninstall this application via the Windows Control Panel.

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

I have just solved this problem by resetting Firefox as described in a link above, followed by reinstalling all my original addons.
