how Firefox is going to block cryptomining scripts
I read these upcoming Firefox releases https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2018/08/30/changing-our-approach-to-anti-tracking/ , and I noticed Firefox has a plan to block cryptomining scripts. I'm planning to install a mining script on my own website, instead of normal ads. Of course, I'll notify users to mine, and get agreements. So I'm wondering how Firefox blocks mining script. Are mining scripts blocked even if I get agreements from users? Thanks.

If it is a self-hosted script, you shouldn't have problem with built-in protection. There' are also addons like uBlock, ghostery and so on.
But if it's an agreement with users, they are able to override anti-mining just for your site.

Thank you for replying! I understand, and it solved my question. My script is self-hosted, and I don't care about addons (because they are able to do everything).
