What is this? Mozilla Firefox seems slow...to...start. "Learn How to Speed It Up" "Don't Tell Me Again" x
I recently updated to ESR 52.7.3. (I purposely use ESR so I can keep using lazarus.)
This has sorta kinda helped this HORRIDLY slow-as-molasses browser & typing delays (i.e. typed 3 sentences and only first 2 words show up then browser freezes). This am when I opened firefox, there is a gray bar with "Mozilla Firefox seems slow...to...start. "Learn How to Speed It Up" "Don't Tell Me Again" x" at the bottom of the screen. Photo attached. Is this something from Mozilla or some kind of ad that Mozilla allows and adblock plus is oblivious to?
Thank you for your help with this.

Your Firefox think it's... slow to start :) Please check you'r using last version of Firefox and this article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-takes-long-time-start-up .
Thanks!
Thank you, but I didn't see anything referencing the question in my title.
My question is:
Is this (i.e. the gray bar at the bottom of the screen in the above screen shot that says "Mozilla Firefox seems slow...to...start. "Learn How to Speed It Up" "Don't Tell Me Again" x") from Mozilla or some kind of ad that Mozilla allows and/or adblock plus is oblivious to?

Unfortunately, this is not advertising. So your browser notifies you of certain problems with it. In this case, with performance.
Thank you for letting me know this comes from firefox. I'm glad its not advertising. In all the years I've had firefox and even with all the signal issues with my IP, this is the very first time I've ever seen this.
I just closed the browser and opened a new one and its gone. At least for now. :-)
Is this a new feature?

No. This feature is in Firefox long ago. Anyway, I remember a similar mistake from 2016. :-)
Ok, thanks again. I guess I've been pretty lucky that this is the first time I've seen it. :-)
This extension is a possible replacement for Lazarus:
- Form History Control
