adblock starts after firefox has started
With release 29.0, add-on "adblock" starts 2 or 3 sec after Firefox has been launched. Then ads are not blocked ! Page must be reloaded (up-dated) to get ads blocked . I 've got this issue on both my laptop and desktop computer.

What are you using as a home page? I use About:Home.

To FredMcD : I'm using IXQUICK but it's the same with GOOGLE. In fact I noticed this issue once the latest FireFox release (29.0) was installed on my PC's. But, Adblock Plus bug seems to have occured quite at the same period. So I was'nt able to discriminate which software was to be pointed out ! From Phillip answer (above) FireFox is "clean" and Adblock Plus is "guilty" :-)

joaqwzsx; May I suggest you use About;Home or About:Blank
as your home page, and set new tab as the other page.
No change with About:Blank ! Adblock Plus comes 5 sec later !! I've loaded the lastest release of Adblock Plus : no change !

Installed Adblock plus release 2.5.1.3773 (https://downloads.adblockplus.org/devbuilds/adblockplus/) : it works well now :-)
