Check the connection settings.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

I also have this problem, and I tried the suggested solution of going into Tools>Options>Advanced>Network (tab)>Settings (button)>Select "No Proxy">Click OK.

This works, but is only a temporary fix for the current error message. There is no global solution. You must follow this path every time you get this message. It's annoying because it happens a lot.
