firefox 8.0 compatibility issues with NIS 2012

I have just installed NIS 2012 (previously had NIS 2011) and now NIS features (Identity Safe logins, Norton toolbar, and Norton Safe icons) do not function. All of these are working in IE and also they worked previously with NIS 2011.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!
