Is your sync on? because deleted history can sometimes reappear if it’s synced back from another device or check your privacy settings by go to settings > privacy & security > history, make sure Firefox is set to “Remember history” (or a custom setting that allows history saving and deletion). If “Always use private browsing mode” is on, history deletions might not behave as expected.

Thanks- I've checked sync and it's not syncing with any other devices. Not sure what's going on with it as this is suddenly new and no settings have been changed.

Since your sync is not on, have you tried troubleshooting it? Clearing your cache/data? If that don't work maybe force stop the app? Or use Delete browsing data on quit and check the box for browsing history.

I'm just throwing ideas hoping it will help this issue!

Nope- thanks but that did not work. Now my FF on Android browser history is all gone and I am trying to recover that.

We received several reports about this issue after the 143 release and our team is currently looking into it (see bug1990978).

If you're on the same version, you might be impacted by the same bug.
