After many years of use, the delete button has stopped working. Moving any email into the deleted folder of local folders works, but I would prefer to have the delete button back.

  1. Is the mail you are deleting located in the "local folders" account?
  2. Is the icon beside the deleted/ trash folder showing the trash can image, or is it now showing something else?
