I just set up G-Suite gmail yesterday. But I use Thunderbird and set up a new account in Thunderbird for my imap gmail to come in. Last night I set up a bunch of filters that I like to use, which sends certain email directly to certain folders when they come in. For instance I have a folder set up just for 'Travel'. So today an email came in from PriceLine and the filter worked fine, and put the email directly into my 'Travel' folder. But then i saw in my 'Sent' email, a ton of emails that I never sent, but they all coinside with the emails that were sent to different folders in my account. For instance, the priceline 'from' was 'email@deals.priceline.com' . At the same time an email in my sent folder appears called 'bounces+213667-e3b7-kristi=studio545.com@deals.priceline.com'

So now my 'sent' folder is filled with a bunch of weird emails, that are created for each time an email gets filtered into one of my folders. Is there anyway to fix this from happening? The whole idea for the filters was to keep my inbox clean and organized, but now my sent folder is a mess! I am assuming it has to do with the gmail and imap, but it never happened before and I have been using Thunderbird/Filters for years. Thanks for any help!

Hey - never mind . . .I am embarrassed. Turns out I had accidentally turned on my auto Vacation response email in gmail, and all mails that came in since midnight last night were getting an auto response from me saying I am on vacation. Jeeze - thanks for your time!
