I purchased a product that I'm trying to register on line for the warranty to take affect. After filling in the information requested the next page starts with "Server Error in '/' Application. Mailbox name not allowed. The server response was: sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts ( #5.7.1) Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Then there is listed: Exception Details; Source Error; Source File; Stack Trace. There isn't any link to go to for further assistance. I've tried other web sites to register, but end up with the same results. I'm very perplexed. Please help.

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

  • check the permissions on the about:permissions page and in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
