Od poslednej aktualizácie Thunderbirdu, sa mi prestali zobrazovať vlastné priečinky, ale na na poštovom servri sú viditeľné. Jednoducho ich nenačítalo. Má niekto podobný problém? Jedná sa o poštový server azet-mail.sk

Hey Guys,

My Left click to open links from my emails has stopped working. I have to right click and select Open Link. I have tried everything, tried going through some of the config editor options i saw people mention for this issue and its all set to True already. There is no data besides PDF under the settings / attachments section. So cant change anything there. I tried a new profile, no go. I did a full uninstall and delete profile and started again, still same issue.

Left click to open links for everything else on my computer like firefox etc. Just cant open links through thunderbird. It used to work, it seems to have stopped around the same time as the latest update but i cant be sure about that. Only stopped working the last few days,

I have a POP3 account which will not download new emails. The indication is there are no new emails. I can access the email account through gmail and there are many new emails. I have checked password. I have gone through the re-indexing procedure and all other possible solutions I could find. I did find some information about Java and incidentally, there was a Java update on the day my emails began to fail, 8-16-2026. I found this error message, but I don't know how or if I can fix this: module is not a constructor ExtensionCommon.sys.mjs:1679:15

Have recently upgraded to 156.0 and I find that the "Sent" folder in the Unified Folders shows the wrong folders. They are the same as the "Inbox" folder as you can see in the attached photo. What do I need to do to correct this?

I belong to a group which need to receive a report to the whole group on a regular basis. How do I do this? The Mozilla instructions don't seem to apply to Firebird and have instructions which don't work on Firefox version 115.18.0

This morning, my email Inbox is empty. I use Thunderbird for four email accounts, and three of them are fine, but the fourth one has an empty Inbox this morning. I didn't (intentionally, anyway) move the emails anywhere, and they do appear to be in the All Mail folder, so I didn't lose them entirely. But I keep my emails mostly in my Inbox and they aren't there anymore.

Any ideas what happened to make them disappear and how I can get them back to the Inbox?

What I see When I reply to an email written in classic Outlook for Windows, the quoted Outlook text gets a big gap above and below every single line, and its font changes. This happens as soon as Thunderbird processes such a message again, for example when I view my sent reply, reply to my own reply, forward it, or reopen a saved draft. Thunderbird users who receive my replies should see the same gaps.

Why it happens (as far as I can tell) - Outlook writes every line as its own paragraph and relies on a small style rule that says "no extra space between paragraphs". - Since version 151, Thunderbird puts the quoted email's style rules into a protective container (`@scope`) so they cannot change my own text (bug 1967725). - Thunderbird's own safety filter for HTML emails treats this container as a suspicious rule and deletes it, together with everything inside it. The "no extra space" rule is lost, and the gaps appear. - Older versions such as Thunderbird 140 ESR don't understand the container at all and ignore the rules even in the first reply.

In short: one Thunderbird feature adds the container, another Thunderbird feature removes it again.

How to reproduce (no Outlook needed) The attached test message contains two quotes with the same spacing rule: quote A inside the container, quote B without it. In Thunderbird 155.0.1 quote A shows big gaps, while quote B stays tight.

What would help Keep protecting my own text from the quoted styles, but in a form that Thunderbird's own filter and older email programs don't remove, for example by limiting the quoted rules to the quote with an ordinary class name instead of `@scope`.

Technical pointers - Filter: pref `mail.html_sanitize.drop_conditional_css` (default true); `NoConditionalRules` in `stylesheet.rs` rejects `CssRule::Scope`. - Container: `QuoteSanitizer.sys.mjs` (Phase 2), called from `MsgComposeCommands.js`. - Tested with Thunderbird 155.0.1 on Windows 11.

In checking my email, I clicked on one that was from "Progressive" which is a valid correspondent but upon opening, it was from United Airlines, which is also a valid correspondent for me. I closed out Thunderbird and reopened but this did not resolve the issue. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

When I sort on correspondents, if, say, I have a message from Susan, messages from Tom, Dick, and Harry will appear in the sorted list under Susan's name. If I then sort under date, Susan's name will remain in the list for Tom, Dick, and Harry's messages, even though the individual headers give the correct name for each message. I noticed this a few days ago, and it's still happening. How do I stop this?

After a long explanation, I tried to add a file and lost everything. Starting over! After using TB for over 30 years, I accumulated a large number of personal folders to archive files to. Due to confusion on my part about pass words in Proton Mail and their Bridge, I had to reinstall my ProtonMail account into Thunderbird. Because all my personal folders were connected with the old "account" name, I didn't remove it, and the new addition seemed to be working fine.

After doing some house cleaning to remove duplicate and obsolete files, I wanted to move the folders attached to the old account name, under the new name. I thought I could carefully move my personal folders from the old account, back under the new Protonmail account. Sadly, that doesn't work like that. What I did find was that the original folders which come under the original "account", were created with an older version of TB, which put them in a folder on my HD. But the new default folders ("inbox", "draft", "sent" etc.) are mirrors of the Protonmail Bridge, which is NOT what I want.

So I need someone that knows how to either place the old folders back under the NEW "account", or how to create new folders that ARE on the HD, and then move the files from one place to the other.

Just to help clarify, here's the location of the old folders as per the "properties" info.

You can see the address for this folder is on my Drive E: I can go directly to that address on my drive E and see each of the files.

This folder is from the NEW account of Protonmail - bridge, and is obviously the web address of Protonmail. It is NOT editable, unlike the above location on my HD E:.

SIMPLIFY THUNDERBIRD IT IS EXCESSIVLY COMPLEX. I CANNOT EVEN SEE HOW TO MOVE MESSAGES FROM THE INBOX TO THE RELEVANT FOLDER IN MY LIST. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE FIREFOX AND THUNDERBIRD ARE OVERCOMPLEX AND NEED SIMPLIFIED. SIMPLES. WHY CANT I COPY AND PASTE THE VERSION NUMBER. BLOODY ARESHOLES . AS I SAID IT IS BLOODY OVERCOMPLEX. AT THIS POINT I AM CONSIDERING GIVING UP ON WHAT IS CLEARLY AN OVERCOMPLEX PIECE OF SOFTWARE THAT REALLY DOESN'T LOOK GOOD EITHER AND THERE IS NO OFFICIAL SUPPORT SO WILL HAVE TO LOOK FOR AN ALTERNATIVE. Hi I am having problems signing into or adding my tpg account email address through both outlook and thunderbird. My address and passwords are correct and I have used the settings in both email programs as listed by the messaging company. The error message I am getting is that on thunder bird it cannot find the settings for my emaill account and on outlook it cant find the settings. I have had ongoing issues with my tpg account, this one is a pop3, since the messaging co took over the emails when tpg moved them to there. Issues are that i get very sporadic emails ie one week working the next nothing for long periods of time. I can successfully add gmail accounts to thunderbird and outlook without problems but the tpg one is my issue. I can get tpg emails through the gmail app on my phone with pop 3 settings but nothing on thunderbird. I have contacted the messaging co for help but other than settings they cannot help and suggested coming to thunderbird for help. I prefer to use thunderbird as my email program to have everything on one would be great again. Can anyone offer advice or assistance I would greatfully appreciate it

In Thunderbird why do I (still) get repeated tabs for the same (INBOX) folder?

Many previous answers go back to 2022 with answers that do not work now (like find an add-on in Tools for deleting duplicates).

I understand that in the immediate future that Virginmedia.com will no longer provide email services for their subscribers is this true.

I have downloaded and installed Thunderbird Email on my computer.

I put in my name as requested. Enter my Gmail account and go through all the steps signing in only to get a message that there is an error and I cannot be signed in.

Extremely frustrating to not be able to use this app.

Will be uinstalling immediately.
