All bookmarks I have tried to use just sit there and do nothing. Does not matter whether I use the listings down the left side of screen or I use the under the URL entry line. I have to type url or go to google and search for the address I want.

Running v.159.0 on mac laptop. Firefox repeatedly freezes, displaying a swirling 'busy' rainbow colored dot for several minutes, then reports: "There was a problem connecting with the server 192.168.0.1". In fact my router is not at 192.168.0.1, it's at a different 192.168 address. But why is FF trying to connect there anyways, and how to stop it? This problem began on restarting FF after I had shut it down with open tabs, which I do not normally do. Version may have updated to v.159.0 on the restart. Thank you for any help.

Please help... Within the last couple of FireFox (FF) updates — PDF's will no longer save to external drive. The drive is secure, not full... and have no problems saving files there — except when using print to PDF on FF.

Went into Download Subfile Under Settings:

Current Setting: Save Files to: Downloads / Ask Where to Save

Went further into subfiles: Changed Some to 'Always Ask' Is there a way to reset what the settings were? Concerned I may have changed some that should not have been changed. Changed to: 'Always Ask'

Please see attached file. For a few weeks now I've had problems with graphics - but only when using Firefox. I've had Microsoft Support check for any technical problems but they assured me there was no fault with the graphics. The fact this doesn't happen with any other programme either seems to narrow the field down to the Firefox browser. Sometimes text is garbled or there will be a box (as in the photograph) of either white or containing text/picture from another part of the screen. I would be grateful for advice on if and how this can be fixed. Thank you.

I get error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR using Firefox 159 arch 64 (Tahoe 26.6.2) when I visit these sites:

The CNAME entries and Google Admin account settings are correct.

I get no PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR errors using the URLs this way:

There are no errors using Firefox in a private browser, Firefox on an iPhone, Firefox on iPad, Safari or Chrome.

There are no errors when I create a new blank profile. That makes me suspect some sort of corruption in bookmarks and history.

I took these steps: Turned off all extensions - no errors Turning on any extension created PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

My web hosting tech support suggested duplicating CNAME entries at GoDaddy. GoDaddy said the web host is authoritative for DNS, and changes at GoDaddy would be ignored.

GoDaddy suggested these steps: Clear all site data for bytewriter. The error persisted except with a new blank profile temporarily disable DNS over HTTPS, then reload https://calendar.bytewriter.com - error persisted In the address bar, go to about:networking#dns Click Clear DNS Cache Then go to about:networking#http3 Click Clear All HTTP/3 Alt-Svc Mappings Close Firefox completely and reopen it Test https://calendar.bytewriter.com again Does calendar.bytewriter.com load after that? -error continued

Search for network.http.http3.enabled Set it to false Close Firefox completely and reopen it -error continued

Deleted Firefox and installed from scratch - no errors Created a new profile and imported bookmarks and history

I work solely for nonprofits and rely heavily on Firefox in training less skilled people. My workaround is to use these until FQDN works without that error

Hello Mozilla support, I'm a firefox user based in Iran, currently using latest version on windows. I'd like to use firfox's built-in vpn feature, but it doesn't appear in my browser. Like fido security key can't u just explain in short show an app and just explain how to use instead of writing so many pages people don't have time to read a book as simple as possible would be much easier doesn't it make sense to memorize a sentence it takes a few minutes but you guys want to write a noble making a person going in circles

On Thursday 3rd September 2026 Firefox stopped working. I tried lots of things to get it to work to no avail. Today, 8th September 2026, I had already deleted the Firefox that was already on my PC so I downloaded a fresh copy from the Firefox website and installed it. It ran perfectly for about 30 minutes then I shut it down. 5 Minutes later, a Firefox crash report appeared which I duly sent of. Checking Event Manager a string of error messages saying the same thing, Its the XUL.DLL file that keep crashing! This was the same file that caused the failure last week. I had made sure that XUL.DLL was not on the pc when I downloaded Firefox today. When I click on the Firefox icon it open but stays on a black lower half of the screen and boxes at the top, white lined but black and transparent lines moving left to right across them, eventually it fails and closes, after a few minutes it send the crash report. Its a shame because I have used Firefox for many, many years and now having to use Edge!!!!
