FIREFOX 10 freezes and locks when going to facebook didn't have problem with 9?

Up dated to 10, now when I go to Facebook, FIREFOX freezes and stops responding, almost happens immediately if I click on scroll bar on right. Didn't have problem with version 9. Updated shockwave, flash .net, silver light, etc. Windows XP SP3

Perform the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:

Check and tell if its working.

May not be related to your problem but some of your Firefox Plugins are out-dated

  • Update All your Firefox Plugins -> https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
  • When Downloading Plugins Update setup files, Remove Checkmark from Downloading other Optional Softwares with your Plugins (e.g. Toolbars, McAfee, Google Chrome, etc.)

hey thanks, I uninstalled and reinstalled which clears cookies etc and got rid of a couple of add on tool bars and all is well. Dick Wallace
