Hello Thunderbird Support Team,

I am using Thunderbird on Android with multiple IMAP email accounts.

I am experiencing an issue where, for some accounts, the “Sent” (Sent Messages) folder setting is stuck on “Automatic (none)” and cannot be changed. When this happens, sent emails are delivered successfully but are not saved to the Sent folder.

Important details:

- All accounts are IMAP - Some accounts allow changing “Sent” from “Automatic (none)” to “Sent” or “Sent Items” without any problem - Other accounts (with similar server settings) do not allow any selection at all — the option is locked - The issue occurs only on Thunderbird Android - Folder sync and visibility settings are enabled - This seems inconsistent across accounts, which suggests a mobile client issue rather than a server-side misconfiguration

Expected behavior:

- Ability to manually select a server-side Sent folder for all IMAP accounts

Actual behavior:

- “Sent folder = Automatic (none)” is locked for some accounts and cannot be changed

Please let me know if this is a known issue or if additional logs or information are needed. I would be happy to help with further testing.

Thank you for your work on Thunderbird.

Best regards,
