What is the authentication method? It should be OAuth2, as with the desktop TB. Make sure the VPN is disabled, if in use.

Easy fix is to edit your webmail account profile. Look for the Manage Secure Mail Key link, make a new key & use it as the password for Thunderbird. Problem solved!
